An Amusing Variety

What a beautiful fall day for being at Bicentennial!  Lots of different projects going including ferric chloride foil pieces, plate making and rakuing. New pieces out of this weeks high fire at the end.

Aged to Perfection

Steve's keen eye has captured some of the beauty of what's left after the raku kilns are off and the vessels removed. Scattered shelves and forgotten words still breathe life into

"The Center."

Lichen?

Is this how The Universe was created?

Some of us remember when this sign was new. Age has made it more interesting. Here's hoping the same can be said about our Raku creations.

It's Hip to be Square

This week was "shape shifting" week. You start out round and end up square...It's magic!

Marianne is the "Magician"

Round pot now square

More shaping from the Sureform and bottom cuts are made

Mix and Match

New projects are afoot plus spray glazing, building pots and throwing bowls...Oh my!!

Marianne has been in "The Glaze Lab" but is still working on the right mix.

These guys will be part of a bigger creation. Stay tuned!

Mugs

I'm showing 2 mugs of mine that came out of the high fire this week. I'm pretty pleased with them. More mugs to come from everyone in the coming weeks.
