New Projects

This week we all remembered our medication so class was a tad bit calmer. Marianne had a new project ready to go and the high fire kiln was unloaded and it's treasures revealed.

The sun was out.
The sky was blue.
All these pictures are just for you!!

Happy Birthday, Heather!

What a great excuse to bring breakfast to class. Heather's birthday was a few weeks ago. We forced ourselves to enjoy the feast and enjoy the warm, calm weather. The raku kiln was going, pots were thrown and the question of "Does SIZE matter?" was brought into play. Just another Saturday in paradise.

The start of Donna's vessel

Work it, Donna! It seems to be growing??!!

Does size matter???

Apparently. She threw another one!

Esther inspects her base

Steve does his own thing, as usual.

Gina's sprayed piece turned out great!!

And......there was breakfast. The bread was homemade by the birthday girl, Heather. It was outstanding!!
